Lie Detector Test
If a person is asked to submit to a lie detector test, are they required by law to submit to the test?

Lie detector tests are voluntary. They are not admissable in court because they are so unreliable. I'd never let a client submit to a lie detector test without having my client first submit to a lie detector test that was administered under the safety umbrella of my attorney client privilege of confidentiality. Then I'd want to go over the questions to be asked by th police with my own expert.
