Lifting a restraining order
How can I have a court imposed restraining order lifted? The judge took it upon himself to put a restraing order on my fiance without my consent and now I need to know the process for removing it.

Re: Lifting a restraining order
The protected and the restrained party would have to appear in the court that issued the restraining order and request that it be removed. The court would have to convinced that the protected party was acting without duress. Further the parties should present evidence that the restrained party has changed and that the protected party will not be in danger.
