Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I live in a small beach community. My main transportation is my bike. I have been stopped on my bike more than 40 times by the local sheriffs for various stupid reasons, never ticketed. I'm on probation now for under the influence of a controlled substance. My question is this...Because I'm a 4th waiver does that give the police a right to stop me on my bike everytime they see me. I've been stopped twice and arrested twice in the last month. Both times I was just riding home from the store in the middle of the day doing absolutely nothing wrong. I feel I'm being harrassed, what can I do?

If you live in an area where they are not very many policemen and you think that they are out to get you, all you can do is move elsewhere. But why would they want to go after you all the time? Don't they have something else they would rather do? Are you sure you are not doing something to offend them?
