how long do the county have an issuing a warrant

and its not even issuing a warrant...the DA claims that the warrant paperwwork hasn:t gone all the way through yet becauze a judge hasn:t signed it. but at the same time, having this felony drug warrant is affexting my CalWorks benefits and freedom

You're one of the few people that's complaining because you're not being prosecuted fast enough.

The DA has the entire statute of limitations to begin prosecution of you. That means on a felony, they have up to 3 years. On a misdemeanor, they have up to a year.

If there is some compelling reason to insist they hurry up and prosecute you, then you can contact an attorney and see if they can get the paperwork moving along. Before you rush to have that done, be sure to discuss the case thoroughly, including why a delay may be beneficial to you.
