Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Does anyone know how long it should take for a misdemeanor ticket to show up on the Orange County website? I got it on Saturday afternoon, and I was hoping that since it hasn\'t appeared on the site by Wednesday night, the cop maybe decided not to file the original with the court. He had discretion to give me a warning or an infraction (open container), but handed out a misdemeanor. I told him I hoped he was prepared to appear in court, so maybe he decided not to put it through the system.

The OC DA is seriously backed up. Let sleeping DAs lie. Maybe they will send you a letter to appear in court. Maybe it will be too late and your attorney can get the case thrown out. Show up on your court date and if it isn't on calendar, see the clerk for proof you were there.
