Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
How long can he get?
I am currently in the process of terminating my ex's parental rights to my daughter. He is currently on parole and was recently arrested for assualt with a deadly weapon (no firearm). I was wondering how much time he may possibly do for that. He has been in and out of prison for various reasons for the last 3 and 1/2 years. if you could please respond back to me as soon as possible i would greatly appreciate it .

Re: How long can he get?
The minimum sentence is probation and the maximum is 4 years in state prison. There are other factors that could increase the sentence considerably.
