Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I made a statement against somebody out of anger and frustration, now i realized not all the statement is true. I don't want to send somebody to prison for something I wasn't sure I said at the time. Also a lot of people were present so it made me more confused. If I change my statement would I get in trouble? and what kind of trouble?

There are consequences for false statements. Many times if it something petty and they can't really prove you were knowingly giving false statements they won't prosecute. It is too hard to say.
