Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Male Rape

I am doing a research paper on the laws and statistics regarding the rape of males in CA. I cant't seem to find any material on this subject. Can you please tell me what the laws are for this? Are there any statistical reports that have been done on this subject? Is there any spacific penal codes for this or does it fall under the catagory of rape?

Thank You

Re: Male Rape

The law for rape in CA is the same whether the victim is male or female. You can read it here:

http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/cgi-bin/displaycode?section=pen&group=00001-01000&file=261-269

Many states have a gender difference for statutory rape, but NOT for simple rape.

I don't have an answer for the rest of your questions regarding statistics or studies.
