Can a man who has been charged with second degree sexual assault live with my grandchildren?

This doesn't appear to be a California question. Sexual assault isn't classified in degrees here.
there's not enough information to answer anyway. Is he charged? Convicted? On probation or parole? Are there terms against him living with minors?
