Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Let's say a man had a female friend, one night while she is asleep on his couch he grabs her up forcibly carries her to his room throws her on his bed closes the door and pins her below him to the ground with little or no struggle, she protestss verbally and he voluntarily lets her go, can he be found guilty of a sexual crime?

The Prosecutors office could charge him with Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Assault, Battery, Sexual Battery, or Sexual Assault. Most likely they would charge him with ADW and Sexual Battery as felony offenses.
Whether or not he is found guilty or not guilty depends on more known facts of the case.
