Is it mandatory that I serve subpoena service if I'm requested?

I'm not sure what you mean. If you're properly served with a subpoena then you have to appear when and where it says, unless you either work something out with whoever subpoenaed you or get an order from the court. A mere "request" is not enough to require your attendance. But if you're a party to the case, another party can require you to appear at trial, a hearing or a deposition without subpoenaing you.
