Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
What is the maximum penalty for a person with one prior felony who has now been
my brother has a prior hit and run felony on his record and to pay off the fines he stole a check from our grandfather and forged his name for $2500. the checks were already stopped and reported stolen so there has been no payment made to los angeles court.....the bank is aware of what is going on and they are going to press charges as well as the courts...what happens next?
