Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Meth sales and out of jail??

I am know someone who has had a previous arrest for under the influence of meth. and just recently was raided and was arrested for sales. They also found a large amount in the house. This person was taken to jail for 2 days and was released! Do you know the poss. reason for them to do this? They say they have up to a year to recharge .

There are reasons other than the one provided by Mr. Stone.

The lab results on the material siezed were not available.

The police want to get warrant for his arrest. This will allow the police go to his home to arrest him and do some searching of the house.
