Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
minor entering parents home w/o consent
My friends nephew was told that he wasn't welcome in his dads home until he apologized for something. He doesn't want to, but would like to get his belongings that his grandmother gave him. If he goes into the house while his dad is at work to get his stuff, can his dad charge him with any crime?

Re: minor entering parents home w/o consent
Does the young man live with his father? If he does I don't see how the father can require him to stay out. But if he doesn't then the father may be within his rights. Try posting this question under family law and see what the experts in that field have to say.
