I am the mother of a minor, I also have sole physical and legal custody. My daughter was subpoenad to testify against her father on 12 felony counts. Isn't it manditory that I also be present?

Re: minor subpoena
Young children are given a lot of deference when it comes to testifying, particularly when sex is involved. The older the child the less deference the child is given. You would probably be allowed to accompany her to court and to be near her when she testifies. Contact the da that issued the subpoena and discuss your concerns with that person. If that does not allay your fears then contact an attorney.
