Misrepresented Investment Deal

How do I take legal action against a

person who took money for a false real

estate deal-using $15K that money for

his personal gain and issued false

promissory notes? His LLC is in Arizona

- we live in California and he is now on

the run in Nevada. Thank you!

Report it to the police for one thing. Contact the district attorney's office for another.

It's almost not worth pursuing in court because it could end up costing you more in attorney's fees than what is owed to you, especially if he has no assets to go after.
