Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Missed pre trial court date and have not attended Domestic Abuse Class
I had recently missed my court date for pre-trial due to not being informed by my lawyer in due time. I also have not been attended domestic abuse class which was a condition of my OR release. I was wondering how I can go about fixing this issue w/o spending time in jail and w/o having my case disrupted. I have not been prosecuted and want to prove my innocence. I feel I am admitting guilt if I attend classes for domestic abusers. Can I post bail and not have to physically go to court to see the judge b/c I'm in RI and my trial is in SF, CA. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
