Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
i have moved out of a house that was growing marijuana. i have no invovlement or knowledge of the growing operation. the house was recently raided by police and the tenant was arrested. can i be charged with a crime?

It depends a lot on how long the investigation has been going on. It may have started while you were still there. In any event, if the cops come around asking you questions, be sure to politely decline. You need to demand a lawyer and their questioning must stop. Cops usually get most of the evidence they need from the suspect himself.
