Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
mr. shears: how many times can a person be rearraigned on the same charge in the state of california? is it not 3 times only. if it is and now its going on the 4th. time what can a person do in this case?

Unfortunately, since I do not practice criminal law I can not answer your question. I tried to do some quick internet research but did not come up with anything helpful. I would think that your criminal law attorney would argue to the judge that the case is very weak if the DA has to refile so many times and that in the interests of justice the DA should go after people more clearly associated with a criminal act.
