Murder Charge
If a U.S. Citzen murders an alien (immigrant or non U.S. Citzen) would that person be charged with murdering an alien? Why?

The fact that the person who was killed was an alien is not of much consequence. If they can prove murder your friend is in some serious trouble. Needs legal help.

The defendant would be charged with murder for taking any life.

The citizenship of the victim is irrelevant. As far as the law is concerned, murdering a foreigner is no different from murdering an American.
