Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Normal sentencing for a Misdemeanor
I have a pending Misdemeanor case in California that's being handled by my lawyer at the moment; I was just curious what I could be facing for a Misdemeanor assault & battery case I have against my own Step Father. Take into account no one was physically assaulted and no injuries were reported. Just an argument between the both of us that escalated. I've already served some time in jail for it as well and am now living in another Florida.

Re: Normal sentencing for a Misdemeanor
I am assuming your case is in Florida as I can't answer questions re. California criminal law. Misd. battery is a 1st degree offense meaning a sentence of up to 1 year jail, probation, and other conditions.
