Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

obligation to report persons who harbored a fugitive

When I was a minor in the 70's , My Aunt and Uncle harbored a fugitive murderer, their son in law. The murder took place near to where I live right now. I was a minor and didn't realize the implication of my aunt and uncle's crime. And worst I forgot what had happened until last year when I recalled the event.

I recently found through the internet that the murderer was caught and was in jail. but is it still a crime

that my aunt and uncle had harbored him? and If so, what should I do?

Re: obligation to report persons who harbored a fugitive

If they committed a crime the statute of limitations has long since run. Just get over it and move with your life.
