How can I obtain a criminal background check to see if I have an outstanding warrant in my name without having to pay a fee?

You can obtain your criminal record from the state Attorney General's office or from a private company like Choicepoint, but it wont have warrants. Call your local sheriff or, preferably, have a lawyer make the call.
