Re: O.J. Simpson murder charges

The murders took place near the corner of Dorothy and Bundy in Brentwood which is a part of Los Angeles. The criminal trial was in downtown LA and the civil suit was in Santa Monica, CA. I was trying a case there at the same time and it was a circus. That is all in LA county. Judge Ito's uncle lived across the street from me and the judge lives in Pasadena.

Re: O.J. Simpson murder charges

The murders took place in L. A. County and the criminal and civil trials both took place in L. A. County. Because of the logistical problem in moving the man power etc. to an outlying court (where it belonged) the L. A. County D. A. decided to hold the criminal trial in the down town court. With a majority of the residents being black. That's why O. J. won the criminal trial. Simple military tactics dictate that you always take the battle to the enemy, where the enemy can't win. Classic example of poor military tactics and strategy. This happens when good administrators are promoted to positions that they have never trained for. The decision to place the next Deputy D. A. in line for a felony trial, and place her in charge was the fatal error that saved O. J. from spending the rest of his life in prison. Military principle dictates, with a big battle to win, the person best qualified to win is placed in charge.
