Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Ok, asking an online attorney is how my problem originally started. Back in 2004 I was facing criminal charges and left a question on a legal service asking for advice. I was already being represented by a local attorney so the advice I needed was just to clarify what I already knew... Which was that I was going to have to serve time. While I was incarcerated the attorney service contacted my father and pretty much took him for $15K.

Since my release the attorney service was shut down and charged with several counts of fraud. I was contacted to submit my proof of damage and lost money from this companies illegal activities.

Thinking my claim was submitted and I was to be included in the case payout, I recently received a final payout list and was not included.

Is there any possible way to resubmit my losses or find out why I was not included in the payout.

Contact the law firm that was handling the suit or the DA that filed the charges if it is retribution.
