Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
What options are available to someone who has been given a discharge parole date by the parole officers unit supervisor and the parole officer refuses to discharge them from parole? Parolee has complied with all terms and conditions of parole but newly assigned parole officer (2 months) refuses to discharge from parole. Parolee's file has not been updated and parole officer refuses to acknowledge legal documents to update parolee file which would release him from parole?

First communicate in writing only with the Parole Officer. Make sure to explain your frustrations and lay out a clear reason why you are entitled to be discharged. You may also wish to communicate with his/her supervisor in writing of course. Hope this helps.
