Pornography (including gay pornography) that is otherwise legal will not become illegal simply because you have a large quantity of it. This does not mean you can refuse to pay the owner, and remember that the images must not depict children and must not obscene by local standards. There may be other legal restrictions you will have to obey, but having "too much" material is not going to get you into trouble as long as the material itself is legal and you obtain it by legal means.
