Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Parcel Delivery /Seized by gov

I am hoping that there is someone out there that can direct me because I am confused regarding a FED X parcel that was seized by the government, and my rights.

About three weeks ago, my 29 yr old daughter recieved a knock on her door to have FED X delivery which seemed to be addressed in my name but incare of my daughter and sent to her address. Strangely enough, my last name was incorrectly spelled, althought my daughters last name was correctly spelled. I really don't get that, (or if there is any relivence). Neither myself or my daughter expected any package so of course my daughter accepted the parcel and upon signing for it, she was invaded by authorities, the agents upheaved her entire house , I guess looking for something that they never old here what, and proceeded to take her to their station for interigation and then released with no incedent. Other than obvious trama to my daughter, they remained in possession of the parcel. They never told my daughter what was the context ad didn't open it in front of her. I didn't hear anything about the whole incedent intil my daughter called me the next day hen they released her, without her possession the ''parcel''.

We are notinvolved with any illegal activities. born in USA?ha

You should consider retaining an attorney to represent you in this matter. Situations such as you describe often involve the transportation of drugs. This conduct is taken seriously by law enforcement. These cases are vigorously pursued by law enforcement.
