wrong date on ticket dated 5/28/07 not 5/28/08. Can I beat the ticket?

Probably not. Typos don't matter if everyone recognizes them as such. You obviously realize what happened, and you have fair notice of what you allegedly did wrong and when. That's what really matters.

You can give it a shot (argue your point in front of the judge) just because you never know but it is doubtful you will be let off the hook.
