parole question
can a man getting out of prison who is married and who's wife visited him while in prison suddenly be told that he can't have contact with his wife because of an assault charge that was not put on him by his wife but by the state? she didn't even go to court against him

If the order to stay away from his wife is a parole condition, then yes. If the order to stay away is from a case other than the case he is on parole for, then he can go back to the court that issued the "stay away" order and ask for a modification. Otherwise, he would have to have the parole condition modified to allow contact.
