Parole Search and Seizure

What areas of the house do law enforement officers have the right to search without a warrent or consent of home owner, if parolee resides at that address?

The police or parole officer could search all common areas of the house and the room in which the parolee has control of. In other words all portions of the house which are accessibie to the parolee.

Unfortunately parolees' give up a lot of search and seizure rights, and if they live with others, those others can often face the inconveniences of the search as well. The parolee's room and all common areas that he has access to can be searched by law enforcement. This can be embarrassing and intrusive, but it is allowed.
