I am not sure what you are asking. You may be confusing Parole and Probation. If someone is placed on Parole in California and they are arrested anywhere, even outside of California, they have probably violated the terms of their release regarding their parole and they could be heading back to finish their sentence. If you are referring to Probation their are two forms: One is called: "informal Probation" and the other is formal Probation. Informal probation used to also be called county or court probation. Generally the terms include not having to report to a probation officer. However, a violation in another county will catch up with the individual and if the violation is also a violation of probation they could find themselves dealing with both issues. However, since your question is very general I can only guess at what you mean. Therefore the information I have provided may not apply to the situation you have in mind. Good luck
