That depends upon your sentence. Pleading no contest is just like pleading guilty except that a no-contest plea can't be used against you in a subsequent civil trial to prove that you committed the crimes you were charged with. The court has the same sentencing options either way. If a guilty plea in your case could result in an order to pay restitution, then so can a plea of no contest.

Yes.The judge can still order restitution if you plead "no contest."

A no contest plea can't be used against you in a civil lawsuit if the offense is a "straight" misdemeanor or an infraction.

If the offense is a felony, or a "wobbler" that can be charged as a misdemeanor or a felony, then it can be used in a civil suit.
