paying fines on day of court

If a fine is applicable, will I need to pay it on the day of court for a misdemeanor offence?

No, you will automatically get some time to pay. If you need a longer time period do not hesitate to ask the judge. You can also request a payment plan I am sure.

I hope you are not representing yourself on the case. If yes, then it is a bad idea.
