Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
PC 288a in CA expunge or reduced?
While I was locked up, my public attorney advised me that it was okay to take my deal because I received 5 years probation, felony-strike, 8 months in county, and lifetime registration. she said that the felony could be expunged. but everything i read now says it can't. what are my options?

Unfortunately, you cannot expunge this charge.

You should get a copy of the police reports and other documents in the court file and consult with an attorney about your options.
