Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
If I PC1000 drug diversion is offered to me in court and because court moves kinda quick and I never heard of this program I was unsure. Since my public pretender was busy with all his other clients in court he really didn't have much to say to me about this , although he did provide me with a pamphlet with detailed information. Basiclally in court I opted for the PC1000 program. I read more about it now and I don't want to do the program rather fight my case. IIs this do-able? Can I opt out of the PC1000 and fight my case instead after saying I would do the program???

Yes, assuming you have not completed the diversion program. Talk to your PD.
