If it is a PC 422 charge I assume the case is in California???? Were you arrested and released w/o charges filed??? Bailed and got a date from the bondsman??? I really don't understand how you have a date and a warrant??? More information might help.

If a warrant for your arrest was issued and it has a bail associated with it you can surrender yourself, pay the bail and be released. If you can't pay the entire bail amount, talk to a Bail Bond Person and have the bail in place when you turn yourself in. Unless it is a Ramey warrant, a warrant to bring you in for the police to question you, the arrest warrant is often for charges that have been filed. You don't want to miss a court date, so you may want to talk to an attorney to find out what's going on and what you are facing so the decisions you make are with all the information that is available to you.

Good luck,

Elena
