Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Penal Code Violation Numbers

I have a lawsuit record number for a California lawsuit in the Central Los Angeles Criminal Court in late 1969. The Penal Code Violations are given the numbers G6200 and G6201. What type of crime do they represent?

Also have a record with the Penal Code Violation number H11911 from a mid-1970 case. What typd of crime would this be?

Can I get copies of these files? How would I go about this? How much would it cost?

Thank you for your help.

Penal Code Violations

The numbers which you have appear to be CASE Numbersand not Penal Code Numbers. With those numbers you can goto the clerk of the court and request copies of the files, however, these cases are very old and might not be readily available. I wouldsuggest that you check with the clerk of the court. As for the cost,it is around .50 to 1.00 per page.

Good Luck
