What are the usualy penalties for brandishing a firearm he is 18 a first offense as an adult he is on juvenile probation for something else

I agree with Mr. Stone, that he is looking at some jail time. If his juvenile case involves a violent or serious felony, he may well be sent to the California Youth Authority for a year or more. Firearm violations are taken very seriously in most courts.

Jail time, I would hope. Probation doesn't seem to have worked. Some people are determined to do life on the installment plan.
