Can a person be arrested at a later time .
If someone your with is arrested for posesion of a control substice,and child endangerment,and you were checked out and you were okay and was let go with no sitation,ticket or anything.Can they come back at anytime at a later time to arrest you? For the same charge the other person was charged with.

Yes, they can come back and arrest you at a later time, but it's unlikely that they will unless they discover or uncover new information that they didn't know at the time of the first guy's arrest. There's no way to know what they're planning, but a criminal lawyer may be able to get some information out of the cops in advance so that you'll know what to expect. An arrest can certainly occur at a later time if evidence is developed to justify the arrest. What you have described seems to indicate that the circumstances at the time of the arrest did not implicate you and, indeed, may have indicated that the nature of your association didn't justify connecting you to the illegal conduct. But again, this could change if more information is acquired that does implicate you.
