Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
If a person is convicted of Felony Elder Abuse, and sentenced to 24months in California State Prison, how long will that person actually serve? Once released, is that person placed on Parole, or Probation, and how long does that last? Also, if a person is on parole, are they allowed to leave the state?

Is that all they got? Depending on the offender's prior record could be anything from 1 year to 20 months with good behavior. Usually there is 3 years of parole thereafter and the offender would need permission from their parole agent to leave the state.
