Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Personal Injury
My son-in-law went to my son's house and beat him up pretty bad.
My son is on crutches due to permanate disability.
My son-in-law says it was in self defence and is now trying to get a restraining order against my son claiming civil harrassment.
How much trouble could my son-in-law be in if my son presses charges?
Thank You,
