personal property release
my boyfriend was arrested for domestic violence, he had $15,000 cash on him. he said i could use the money. but they won't release it. they said it is evidence. evidence for what! its a domestic violence case. nothing else was found. how do i go about getting that money before i lose everything? thanks for you time.

Having $15,000 in cash in his presence is considered by the police as an indication of drug dealing. Your boy friend may have bigger problems than domestic violence. He should ask his attorney to file a motion for the return of the money.

You get the money by getting a lawyer involved. Your boyfriend's lawyer should help, private or public defender.
