Having $15,000 in cash in his presence is considered by the police as an indication of drug dealing. Your boy friend may have bigger problems than domestic violence. He should ask his attorney to file a motion for the return of the money.

You get the money by getting a lawyer involved. Your boyfriend's lawyer should help, private or public defender.
