Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I petition the court for (PC 1203.3) early discharge from probation July 1st, I have the hearing date on August 1st. I talked to my probation officer and got the thumbs up from him. Now, can i petition for (PC 17b) lowering felony to misdameanor right now or should i wait till after the hearing of the first petition i filed???

You can, or should have, asked for the reduction at the time you filed the initial petition. Unless there are other issues, you will not be prevented from requesting a reduction to a misdemeanor after the hearing on the first petition.
