Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
if picked up on a felony warrent and $100,000 bail then after your in jail you find out your not a felon does the bail get lower even before you appear in court for a bond hearing?

No, the judge with make that decision upon your appearing in court for the bond hearing. He will most likely lower it at that time.

If you get an attorney, he can file a motion to reduce bail. Of course, the District Attorney can file a motion to increase bail, but you really ought to have an attorney.
