Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Pimping & Pandering

In the state of CA, Los Angeles County, what exactly is the legal definition of 'pimping' and what is 'pandering' or rather, what does one exactly do to be convicted for doing these things? Also, if someone is convicted for these crimes, what other charges could the prosecution think of (example:tax evasion?)in case they could not prove pimping/pandering?

Thank you.

Re: Pimping & Pandering

Penal Code Section 266 through 266k. defind these two terms.

Go to www.leginfo.ca.gov/ then hit the button on California Laws to get to the site that these statutes are available for you to copy and read.

California City and County D. A.s don't normally do tax evasion prosecutions. The Feds. normally do that.
