Plea
During arraignment, when waiving the reading, is this also giving a plea and if so,what is the assunmed plea?

Waiving of the reading of the complaint, relieves the cour of the task of reading the complaint to you at the arraignment. The plea if any were assumed would be not guilty. The court must review with you all of your constitutional rights, make a finding that you understood those rights, the consequences of waiving them and that you understood that you were waiving them.
