can you get a plea bargain after losing a trial, to testify against a co defendant?

Plea bargaining is done before trial. If it is a Federal matter you can receive credit for testifying and helping to convict others. If it is a state matter your sentence is up to the judge and he/she can give you a reduced sentence under certain conditions.
