When a plea of NOLO CONTENDERE is entered for a 273A(B) charge, will the charge be expunged upon completion of the court ordered 52 week neglect class?

It depends on the terms of your plea agreement. Did you plead under the promise that once you completed the class, you could withdraw your plea and the case would be dismissed?

Or are you asking if it automatically gets expunged after the class? That answer is no. If you plead guilty (or no contest), then you're convicted and this offense stays on your record. The obligation to complete the class is a requirement of probation. In order to get this expunged, you'll have to be off probation (either because it ends after however many years you were placed on probation) or because you request an early termination of probation. Then you can ask that the case be expunged under 1203.4 of the Penal Code.
