Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I plead no contest to a pc496 possession of a stolen vehicle. I received 180 days. And a stay of execution. I never remanded myself. That was 2007. I have court in two weeks. I was wondering if the new prop 42 will help me. This was only time before or since that I was in trouble.

It's Prop 47.
Unless the value of the car was under $950 (unlikely), Prop 47 will not affect your case.
By not remanding yourself, you are now in violation of your probation and could face even more than the original 180 days.
You need a good criminal defense attorney. I'd strongly suggest you find someone who focuses on criminal law and who routinely practices in the court where this case will be heard.
